The Rutgers Auxiliary is a committee in the Johnson Fire Department. We are a non-profit, volunteer organization. Since 1960, it is the mission of the Rutgers Auxiliary to raise money for the Johnson Fire company (Rutgers Engine Company #1), as well as the surrounding community.
The Rutgers Auxiliary conducts fund-raisers throughout the year. We have a positive impact on Minisink families and the surrounding communities. We raise money for charity and all proceeds from the fund-raisers are donated to The Johnson Fire Department, Minisink Cares, local food pantries, Middletown Humane Society, Minisink Backpack program, Minisink Project Graduation, and scholarships for 2 Minisink Valley graduating seniors. The Rutgers Auxiliary is a non-profit organization that gives back to the community.
